Osan

Today I took a long bus trip with my friends Mike and Brandon. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends in my life. We shopped. They were patient with me while I shopped. That is sometimes a challenge for people, especially men. We ate lunch at Captain Ds, in Korea. How funny is that? Osan is great. My quality of life would be much improved if I lived in a city like that one. It would be a nice place just to walk around. It reminds me that in life airmen seem to have it a little better than soldiers. But, I hear we get paid more. I am not sure if it is true or not.
Anyways, back to the shopping. So we shopped. I bought Mom and Dad's birthday presents. Dad's birthday is coming up very soon, April 15 and Mom's birthday is May 1. I am sure they will like their gifts. I cannot write on here what I bought because..........someone might actually read my blog and tell them. It is far more likely that no one ever reads this. Ohhh today I bought the most beautiful Korean vase. I got the guy to knock $30 off the price and throw in a free plate to go with it. What can I say I have a heck of a sales pitch! The vase is green and has bamboo and cherry blossoms. Cherry blossoms are one of my favorite things. They are so lovely and beautiful. I also treated my self to a really adorable handmade jewelry set, necklace and earrings. I am very excited to get to wear them.
At this point I am pretty worn out from my long day. It was nice to come home to Dennis and the dogs. Charley is especially affectionate this evening. He laid against my chest and we rested on the couch. It was very relaxing. Overall it was a good day. Although, keep me in your prayers and especially Dennis. I think he needs to wear a mood ring. It might help me figure out his moods. Sometimes it is like his is a ticking time bomb. But, he is my ticking time bomb and I love him dearly.
