A Lazy Friday

So, I had a pass and did not have to go to work today. It was nice. I slept in. I ate pizza. I played with my dogs. I watched a movie and it was so good. I watched Blindside, the one Sandra Bullock one the Academy Award for. It was a wonderful feel good sports movie. I usually hate movies that win awards. But there are a few exceptions. I love Juno and that one best screenplay a few years ago and I love Blindside and Sandra Bullock won best actress. It just was so appropriate. There was no sexual innuendo and I only remember a few bad words. Probably less than 5 bad words. I highly recommend it, especially if you love football. It is also based on a true story.
Today I also got my haircut. The usual Korean shop I go to, Riahn, lost their best employee. My favorite guy with the blonde hair isn't there anymore. I was so disappointed. This really gorgeous lady with long hair cut my hair. It was not exactly what I wanted but maybe I will grow to like it. Between that and the 2 zits on my face I wasn't feeling particularly confident today. However, I still went to dinner at my friend Jaenelle's house. She and her husband had several couples over. I was the only one that didn't have my husband there. Dennis was bowling instead. So, I went alone and actually had a great time. I didn't feel awkward at all being be myself. I think everyone had a good time. We ate good food. Jaenelle made bulgogi and spicy chicken with sweet potatoes. If I get the recipes I will certainly post them because it was delicious. It was great and then we played a party game, Buzz Word. Our team, the girls, won. I walked home with Jason and Holly. Jason walks so fast that I wasn't really able to enjoy the scenery. Oh well. Maybe next time.
I came home and took the dogs out on a walk. While we were waiting for the elevator Rigby got a piece of gum stuck to her face. So I had to cut the fur around her face. She hates it. As our Korean dog groomer says "she very much hate." So, she looks kinda silly but I can see her face better. I am not sure if it makes her feel any better but she had alot of gum stuck around her snout and eyes. My dogs keep my life exciting. Right now Charley has almost all the toys on the couch so Rigby can't get them. He doesn't like to share. She spends all her time trying to jump up on the couch so she can get a toy or play with him. I hate letting her up here because sometimes she pees on the couch. Also, I want her to learn how to jump up on the couch by herself without having me pick her up every time.  She just finally got the rope toy from Charley and of course he took it back. Most the time they don't play very nice. I am not sure why. I guess Charley just wants to show that he is the alpha male. Rigby will run in his cage and get toys. Then Charley steals them and jumps up on the couch. They are such a funny pair. I sure hope they get along with Wicket and Chewy. I should probably get to bed soon. Tomorrow I am going to Camp Casey for a pet CPR and first aid class taught by the Red Cross. It should be handy knowledge. Especially if I decide to get into dog training and grooming when I get back to the states. On a side note I got some funky sunglasses and a Mr. Roger's sweater today. I am looking forward to wearing them with my Korean school girl hair cut.
